After skimming the code of ethics[some weeks ago and coming back to it now], I will be noting some points that may be interesting or questionable:
3.5 Articulate and support policies that protect the dignity of users and others affected by a computing system.
How do you necessary protect the dignity of users?
2.1 Strive to achieve the highest quality, effectiveness and dignity in both the process and products of professional work.
What if the employer doesn't care about having a high quality effective product and instead wants to just have a high quantity of products out every year
2.2 Acquire and maintain professional competence.
This is interesting - or necessary especially in the world of CS. New technology comes out everyday, falling behind is a detrimental factor to our knowledge.
1.2 Avoid harm to others.
Then technically, obtaining information of your phone number and name then getting telemarketers to call you 24/7 is not really harm as some of the products that they call you about would actually be beneficial?
